Thomas Woodyard, MD, FACS, DABS

Thomas Woodyard, MD, FACS, is a Board Certified General Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified on the DaVinci robot for general surgery with more than 400 procedures completed to date. Dr. Woodyard has served as Chief of Surgery at Nellis Air Force Base and at Coliseum Medical Center.

Dr. Woodyard received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University with a US Air Force Scholarship. He completed his General Surgery training in the Air Force and was a staff surgeon at Nellis Air Force Base, which included a tour in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Woodyard has been practicing surgery in Macon since 2002.
